Deputy Director

   Mrs. Leimeister has been at Holly Academy since its inception in 1999. She served as a 6th and/or 7th grade teacher over the following five years. In the fall of 2005, Mrs. Leimeister took a position as a third grade teacher, but was only in the classroom for a few months when she applied and was awarded the position of Deputy Director. 
   Mrs. Leimeister holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northern Kentucky University , a Master’s in Education from Marygrove College , and an Administrative Certificate from the Genesee Intermediate School District ’s Administrative Leadership Academy.
   Mrs. Leimeister has a deep passion for education, children, and being an elementary assistant principal. She strives to create a school community where teachers and staff truly believe that every student can and will learn. Using data to drive instruction and focusing on the School Improvement plan to increase student achievement is her goal. Mrs. Leimeister involves teachers, parents and students in the decision-making process and promotes respectful relationships throughout the entire school community. She realizes that parents are the student’s first and foremost teacher. As a result, she strives to instill a trusting relationship with all the parents of Holly Academy.
   When Mrs. Leimeister is not at work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, reading, camping, and any craft she can get her hands on. She possesses an enormous frog collection, which grows with each passing day. Mrs. Leimeister is proud to be a part of the Holly Academy staff and looks forward to many successful and fulfilling years ahead.
