Lisa graduated from the University of Northern Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. She received her Master’s Degree in Education from Marygrove College. Lisa has been accepted into the Ed. Specialist program at the University of Michigan-Flint campus. Prior to her current position as Deputy Director, Lisa was a classroom teacher at Holly Academy. She was a stay at home mother before pursuing a career in education.
Lisa has been happily married since 1987 to Chris Leimeister, a Service Manager for CNC Link . She is extremely proud of her two children and sees them as one of her greatest accomplishments. Anthony is studying Biometrics Technology at Davenport University. Nicki graduated from the University of Michigan-Flint with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music.
Lisa likes to spend her free time volunteering at Freedom Center North as the Educational Coordinator. She has recently taken an interest in the fascinating hobby of beekeeping. In addition to beekeeping and volunteering, Lisa also enjoys reading and never goes anywhere without a book or two at her side.
