JOB FUNCTION: To provide for the general education needs of Y5-5 students as prescribed in the
established school curriculum and within the policies of the Holly Academy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Shall hold a Bachelor’s Degree or better from an accredited university or college.
2. Shall hold or be eligible for a valid permanent or provisional teacher’s certificate in elementary
education from the State of Michigan.

MINIMUM GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to provide leadership in educational planning.
2. Ability to organize and administer lesson plans aligned with the Michigan Academic Standards.
3. Ability to function effectively on a team and work within an agreed upon instructional plan.
4. Knowledge of the growth and maturation of elementary students.
5. Ability to speak and write effectively.
6. Subject to a Criminal Records Check as required by Board Policy.

Benefits:

Salary:
$36,000 (1 st year teacher salary) or negotiable, based on experience

established school curriculum and within the policies of Holly Academy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Shall hold a Bachelor’s Degree or better from an accredited university or college.
2. Shall hold or be eligible for a valid permanent or provisional teacher’s certificate in elementary
or secondary education from the State of Michigan.
3. Shall hold the required State of Michigan 6-8 science endorsement .

Holly Academy is currently seeking a one-on-one paraprofessional in the Special Education Department. This paraprofessional will team with special education teachers, general education teachers and work one-on-one with a student.

Qualifications: Work Keys or an Associate’s Degree.

Salary/Benefits: $12.50 per hour, MPSERS retirement program from the State of Michigan, 5 paid holidays and 6 personal days

Maintenance Custodian

 

REPORTS TO: Facilities Director

JOB FUNCTION: To keep the buildings in a clean and well-maintained condition, and to assist the Facilities Director and maintenance staff in providing students with a safe, secure and clean school.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent training or GED
  • Proficiency in cleaning and in basic repairs
  • Minimum two years’ experience or on-the-job training

MINIMUM GENERAL REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Vacuum and clean assigned classrooms daily and dust all furniture
  • Mop and disinfect bathrooms and sanitary fixtures
  • Empty all trash cans daily, clean lobbies, lounges, offices and gym
  • Move furniture and equipment as required for various activities
  • Subject to a Criminal Records Check as required by Board Policy

Benefits:

MPSERS Retirement Plan

Salary: $11.25 per hour – 25 hours per week
