Speech and Language Pathologist 

Full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position available. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  2. Certificate of Clinical Competence or CFY with supervision available
  3. Previous experience working with children/schools helpful
  4. Work with students in grades Young 5 through 8th grade
  5. Starting date:  Aug 22, 2022
  6. Subject to a Criminal Records Check as required by Board Policy.

Computer/Network Support Technician

REPORTS TO: Technology Manager

JOB FUNCTION: To assist Technology Manager with school’s technology resources including: computers, laptops, Chromebooks, iPads, other mobile devices, printers, telecommunications systems, audio/visual equipment, networks, and others as required. Provides primary support for students, staff and faculty.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s degree in information systems or related field or three years related experience required
  • Industry certification preferred (A+, Net+, MCSA, MCSE, etc.)

MINIMUM GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to function effectively with all staff
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with vendors
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Knowledge of current technology with computers and other technology
  • Ability to quickly understand and apply new technologies
  • Enthusiasm for working in a Y5-8 learning environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch and use various tools involved in the installation of computer equipment and other office equipment
  • Ability to work occasional nights and weekends
  • Subject to Criminal Records Check as required by Board policy

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND DUTIES:

  • An understanding of networking protocols
  • An understanding of wireless networking
  • Computer maintenance and repair
  • Software deployment, installation, updating and troubleshooting
  • Imaging of computer systems
  • User account management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Device inventory management
  • Active directory and group policy management
  • Audio / Visual equipment maintenance and repair (projectors, sound systems, DVD players, interactive white boards, document cameras, etc.)
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Technology Manager and administration

SALARY:

$34,000 – $40,000  negotiable, based on experience and qualifications.

Substitute Positions Available

QUALIFICATIONS:

Shall have 90 credit hours at an accredited university or college, or shall hold or be eligible for a valid permanent or provisional teacher’s certificate from the State of Michigan.

Must provide original transcripts.

Subject to a Criminal Records Check as required by Board Policy.

SALARY:

$90.00 per day
