JOB FUNCTIONTo provide for the instruction for first grade students as prescribed in the established school curriculum and within the policies of Holly Academy.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Shall hold a Bachelor’s Degree or better from an accredited university or college.
  • Shall hold or be eligible for a valid permanent or provisional teacher’s certificate in elementary or secondary education from the State of Michigan.

 

MINIMUM GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to provide leadership in educational planning.
  • Ability to organize and administer lesson plans aligned with the Michigan Academic Standards.
  • Ability to function effectively on a team and work within an agreed upon instructional plan.
  • Knowledge of the growth and maturation of elementary students.
  • Ability to speak and write effectively.
  • Subject to a Criminal Records Check as required by Board Policy.

 

BENEFITS:

MPSRS retirement plan and Blue Care Network Health Plan

Salary:

$36,000 (1st year teacher salary) or negotiable, based on experience

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Shall hold a Bachelor’s Degree or better from an accredited university or college.
  • Shall hold or be eligible for a valid permanent or provisional teacher’s certificate in elementary or secondary education from the State of Michigan.
  • Shall hold the required State of Michigan 6-8 science endorsement .

 

MINIMUM GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

REPORTS TO: Facilities Director

 

JOB FUNCTION: To keep the buildings in a clean and well-maintained condition, and to assist the
Facilities Director and maintenance staff in providing students with a safe, secure and clean school.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent training or GED
  • Proficiency in cleaning and in basic repairs
  • Minimum two years’ experience or on-the-job training

 

MINIMUM GENERAL REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Vacuum and clean assigned classrooms daily and dust all furniture
  • Mop and disinfect bathrooms and sanitary fixtures
  • Empty all trash cans daily, clean lobbies, lounges, offices and gym
  • Move furniture and equipment as required for various activities
  • Subject to a Criminal Records Check as required by Board Policy

 

BENEFITS: MPSERS Retirement Plan

 

SALARY: $11.25 – $12.00 /hour – 25 hours per week minimum
